Aprodev is a member of CONCORD, the European confederation of non-governmental organisations working in international development, emergency relief and development education. It supports the CONCORD Manifesto for the European Parliament elections: "The European Union and its Responsibility in the World". The document is also available in FR.

Several Aprodev member organisations joined forces to study the relationship between rights and development. The joint position paper describes the added value of rights-based strategies and outlines the main elements of rights-based work.  

There are signs that long-term poverty reduction is losing ground as the primary objective of development policy, while security and stability are gaining importance. Concerned with this paradigm shift Aprodev commissioned a report to stimulate further reflection and action on the matter.

European churches and related development agencies are concerned about the current situation in many developing countries where rising food prices are exposing poor people's vulnerability, pushing many more of them into hunger. The attached paper suggests how political, economic and academic stakeholders could address the issue.
